Off course, I love her. There are as many forms of love as there are moments in time.
all beginnings are small,
all rivers started as small springs,
all revolutions started with small question mark,
all huge trees weathering big storms today were once small saplings,
every epic journey began with a small step,
take your first step today,
begin something new,
do something you always wanted to do,
begin living!!
another quoting from Frankl's book -
Instead of youth challenging age as a negative, it should be jealous of it. Because youth has the promise of future but old age has the treasure of the past. What youth will do, and live old age has already seen, lived and is assimilated in it.
I feel much better about adding years to my life after reading this...
this is a hugely challenged and debated topic, and I would be naive to suggest that I know answer to this, except 42 maybe. Anyways, I read a book by Frankl, obviously called "men's search for meaning of life" and I was influenced by it in more than one way. Without garbing it under subjectivity of my understanding, I am will reproduce as is the thought process in the book .
First it talks about meaning of life, and says is there necessarily a meaning of life. Or rather it is a continum of meanings. Or in different words meaning of life is responding to questions and challenges in everyday life. Each individual, in each different context and situation can give different meaning to life by how he responds to what life puts in front of him. And it is that response or decision that provides meaning to life.
You can have all the knowledge in the world but it is useless if you don't have the conviction to use it.
